A laser tag attraction will typically earn between $250,000 and $1,000,000 annually, achieving ROI within one to two years. The typical investment including the arena environment and equipment ranges from $100,000 to $300,000. Your Laserblast project manager will recommend the solution that fits your needs the best. A laser attraction requires 2,500 to 6,000 square feet (125-150 square feet per play). This includes about 20 square feet per player for the briefing and vesting area in front of the arena.
Save Time & Money
Your employees will have to spend around 20 minutes a day plugging and unplugging batteries with other systems.
No Forgotten Vests
Employees often miss a few connectors if they have to plug in a large number of vests, leading to lost revenue the following day while the forgotten vests are recharging.
No Broken Connectors
Plugging in and out ever day wears out the cables, just like your phone charger.
Extend Battery Life
Vests run directly from your building's power while they are on the rack, reducing the number of charge and discharge cycles used by your batteries. They also top off between games, adding to their useful service life.
Aesthetically Awesome
The racks add an awesome glowing effect to your vesting room to impress your guests before they even enter the arena.
Smooth Operations
” I am very happy that we made a switch to Laser Blast. Laser Tag went from our number two attraction in 2015 to number one in 2016 with over 60,000 plays. In 2015 Laser Tag had 34,878 plays.”
-Clint Novak, Central Park Funland
Cyberblast is designed with ease of operations in mind. Your center is very busy at peak times, so its critical that your staff can focus on keeping customers happy instead of worrying about complicated startup procedures and keeping vests running.
Everything starts with one simple push-button in the besting room: Haze, special effects, audio, scoring, and the vests. User-friendly game software makes it easy for your staff to pick up a new game or accommodate guests needs.
Maintenance is simple part of swapping with color coded connectors and quick-close cases.

FUTURISTIC
The most striking feature of the CyberBlast Phaser system is its futuristic style that stands apart from every other laser tag system. Not only does the rubber cover look great, it also handles better than older polycarbonate-only shells.
DURABILITY & LONGEVITY
CyberBlast uses field-proven LaserBlast optics, triggers, and shock isolation. Nine mounting bosses and strengthening ribs ensure a long-lasting phaser case. The rubber cover absorbs impact, providing another layer of protection for the electronics inside.
The latest advance in battery technology is used in the CyberBlast Phaser system. A LiFeP battery provides a more stable chemistry than ordinary Lithium Ion, while delivering 16 hours+ of life on a single charge and 2000 charge/discharge cycles (over 6 years at 300 cycles per year) before wearing out. Other chemistries like ordinary Li-Ion wear out after 600-1000 cycles (2-3 years).
INTERACTIVITY
The 2-watt multi-voice speaker allows multiple sound effects to be played at once, so you don’t miss out on critical updates throughout the game.
A pico-vibrator is mounted in the grip of the phaser, providing tactile feedback when the trigger is pulled and when you are tagged.
The RGB LCD shows your rank, score, shots remaining, and other information throughout the game. Angled at 45 degrees, the screen can be read quickly so you can get back in the action. Extra thick rubber bumpers surround the LCD preventing damage to the most sensitive part in the phaser.
SCOREBOARD
The touchscreen monitor doubles as an animated scoreboard to display real-time detailed game updates. Statistics such as rank, score, accuracy, number of tags, and number of times tagged are displayed in an attractive animated package. An external monitor can be used instead if you would prefer a big screen display.
The CyberBlast Phaser system is typically used for portable applications, however it can also be used as a low-cost fixed attraction to reach a younger target audience. If you would like to use CyberBlast Phaser in a fixed attraction, several options are available to improve the game experience.
INTERACTIVE TARGETS
Bright RGB targets improve the playability of your arena, particularly in games with fewer players. The targets award bonus points each time they are tagged. The targets can be programmed to flash any color of your choosing and play a sound effect over your arena sound system whenever they are tagged. One base is required to power an unlimited number of targets. The targets are connected with pre-crimped cables, so that individual power outlets are not required for each target in the arena.
BASES
The CyberBlast base is packed with 50 RGB LEDs for an impressive lighting effect that matches the base’s team color. The base encourages teamwork, and makes new game formats possible. In a standard team game, you are awarded 1,500 points for destroying the opposing base. The base also makes the king of the hill game format possible. A speaker is included in the base, which can play sound effects locally, or over the arena speakers.
DISPLAY RACK
The LED-lit display rack holds up to 24 phasers, and their chargers in an attractive case constructed of thick ABS plastic and wood. A single leg of the case can be purchased instead, holding up to 12 phasers in a very small footprint.
TEAM PLAY
The standard team game is still the most frequently played format. Divide into up to 4 teams with unique operator-selectable colors. Work together to earn points by tagging your opponents and targets in the arena.
SOLO PLAY (FREE FOR ALL)
The solo game is most fun when fewer players are participating. Its every player for themselves, tag everyone you see as well as the targets in the arena. We recommend playing the solo game instead of team if fewer than 6 players are in the game, otherwise players will have a hard time finding opponents to tag.
RABBIT
A special game that can be played as team or solo. One player is randomly selected to be the rabbit, indicated by their center lights flashing white in an accelerated pattern. The rabbit earns bonus points every second so make sure to tag them quickly to take those points for yourself. Rabbit is a favorite format for groups who have already played a few games and want more variety.
ELIMINATION
A team or solo game in which each player has limited lives. Once your lives run out, the game is over. Be the last player standing to win.
DRACULA
A solo game in which one player is Dracula while all other players begin as human. After being hit by Dracula, you become a vampire. Bonus points are awarded to all remaining humans every few seconds, and a large bonus is awarded to the last one standing.
FIRE
A team or solo game in which players begin with a standard phaser. After tagging 3 players in a row, an upgraded blaster is awarded until the player is hit again.
DISCOVERY
The objective of the discovery game format is to be the first player to tag every target in the arena. A large bonus is awarded for finding all of the targets first.
CONFIGURABLE OPTIONS
Within each of these game formats there are a number of options that can be changed, including: lives, shot rate, rapid fire, deactivation time, points per tag, points per target, friendly fire, game length, hide time, and safety sensor.
MOBILE PARTY RENTAL
Most CyberBlast Phaser Operators use the system in combination with an inflatable arena or inflatable bunkers to deliver a premium laser tag experience to a corporate or personal party. For mobile use a fiber case is available that contains the entire system, with a 22″ monitor, mini-computer and ten phasers in a durable wheeled case. Some operators bring the full arena laser tag experience to the customer’s location, complete with black lights, professional audio system, fog/haze machine, and special effects. Our representatives can help you source these items individually, or you can purchase an all-inclusive package from Inflatable 2000 to pair with our CyberBlast Phaser system.
MINI LASER TAG ADDITION
Some operators use the CyberBlast Phaser system as an entry-level fixed attraction, most often as an addition to a bounce house, skating rink, or any other family entertainment center with a young target market. For this use, we offer packages that include an attractive mounting rack to hold up to 20 phasers, and mount the touchscreen monitor. This type of attraction typically fits in 800-1500 Square Feet and uses additional options such as targets and bases to create a more interactive experience and encourage repeat play.
TARGET GALLERY & SPECIAL APPLICATIONS
The CyberBlast Phaser System’s unique combination of all-day battery life, light weight, and cordless design also lends itself to use in target galleries, dark rides, and other unique attractions. Targets can be placed inside of theme pieces in your lobby, in a dedicated area, or even in your laser tag arena to be tagged from an observation deck. Players can tag the targets & set off DMX-controlled effects, flash a light pattern, play a sound effect and accumulate points as an extra attraction with a minimal footprint.
Some clients have also used the system as the foundation for a dark ride, scattering hundreds of targets along a running track for players to tag as the car passes through. The CyberBlast Phaser system was designed to be very flexible so that it can fit a wide variety of needs without additional development expense.
CYBERBLAST
The most advanced laser tag system available. CyberBlast is based on the same accurate lasers and legendary durability of HyperBlast, with a brand new style and a unique magnetic latch. CyberBlast includes unmatched arena interactivity: Laser Gates, Touch-Sensitive Elements, Targets, Base Stations, and DMX control of your arena special effects. Use the links to the left sidebar for details about each revolutionary component of the CyberBlast system.

FUTURISTIC STYLE
The Phaser design was based on futuristic curves and features a sleek rubber cover to accent its appearance. 15 Intuitive LEDs The LEDs on the front handle glow red to let you know when you ar not holding the phaser properly. Two LEDs on the front of the phaser display a white flash when the phaser is fired. The rest of the LEDs flash through appealing patterns in your team color.
HIT SENSORS
The phaser includes three sensors, including one aiming directly alongside the laser ensure that players cannot cover their sensors. The phaser was designed to be gripped comfortably and ensure a fair game. The phaser case is widened near the grip to prevent players from covering their front sensor.
VIBRATING GRIP
The rear handle vibrates briefly when you pull the trigger and for a few seconds when you are tagged in the phaser for an immersive effect that is taken for granted in modern videogames.
ANGLED COLOR LCD
The 45° angled rear-facing display shows game information like ranking, points, shots left, lives left and codename in a 40 character format at the perfect angle for easy viewing. The display changes color to indicate the packs state:
- Red — The phaser is not being held properly
- Green — All systems go, you are ready to tag
- Blue — The vest is currently deactivated, find some cover
FUTURISTIC STYLE
The vest features 51 RGB LEDs to show a dazzling array of patterns so each game action is accompanied by its own impressive effect. Mix your own colors for up to eight teams at a time. The CyberBlast vest is loaded with the latest technology including Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries, magnetic vest latches, and rubber over-molding.
ACCENT LIGHTS
Three accent circles clearly show the vest status. For example, in a capture the flag game, the accent circles rotate and shows the color of the flag that you are carrying. In Role-based games, the accent color displays your role, making it easier to identify the VIP, the engineer, the sniper, etc.
MAGNETIC LATCH
A Magnetic latch in the center snaps into place without old-fashioned buckles, beginning your out-of-this world experience right in the vesting room.
LITHIUM IRON PHOSPHATE (LFP) BATTERY
CyberBlast uses an internally mounted LFP battery. LFP is a relatively new battery type that offers the best available cycle life, and improved safety over other Lithium Ion batteries. The battery will last 20 hours without topping-off, and maintains that life 2-3 times longer than other chemistries like typical Lithium Ion & NiMH. Combined with LaserBlast’s award-winning Wireless Charging, CyberBlast vests can play all day & all night.
RUBBER SHOULDER PADS
Flexible rubber shoulder pads conform to your shoulders and allow the vest to hang naturally on players of all sizes.
EXCELLENT AUDIO
Twin Shoulder-Mounted 2-watt, 4-channel speakers provide clear audio just inches from your ears so sound effects can easily cut through the noisy arena environment. Four-channel audio means a game announcement, shot sound, hit sound, and good shot sound all play at once with no annoying audio lag.
LIGHTWEIGHT
The vest weighs 4.5 pounds with battery included, placing the total vest & phaser weight at 6 pounds. A discrete extra strap at the top of the vest is included to improve the vests’ fit on smaller children without compromising its fit on adult players.
THE CYBERBLAST BASE
The Base is the focus of the standard team game format, and also allows for extra game formats like Capture the Flag, Domination, and Respawn. Our Base looks great on its own and also fits into most Base structures provided by theming companies.
THE ELEMENT
“Elements are large targets with several flexible interactive features for both standard party games and complex games for your dedicated players. You can tag an element or touch an element to trigger a game effect. Elements can be configured to deactivate a cyber gate, zap nearby opponents, or recharge your lives. Each element is equipped with a local speaker & amplifier. Depending on its configuration, the element will play an appropriate sound. A mine element plays an explosion sound, a recharge element plays a power-up sound, or an element used to deactivate a laser gate plays a whirring deactivation sound. Equipping your arena with several elements makes new game formats possible, like Domination and Solo Ball. Touching an Element can activate any DMX effect to bring your theme to life. Usually this effect is a fog burst, a flood light, or a strobe light, but premium arenas can trigger animatronic effects as well.”
THE CYBER GATE
The Cyber Gate is a resilient base defense or access restriction. An IR & LED curtain cover an archway, shutting down opposing players who pass through while it is armed. When it is disarmed, the gate glows green and awards a small bonus. The gate is typically used to block strategic access points to base areas, or higher ground.
TARGET
Smaller devices are available without audio playback or a capacitive touch sensor. These targets are perfect if you only need a flashing target that scores points and triggers a DMX lighting & sound effect.
WIRELESS CHARGING RACKS
Wireless charging is a LaserBlast-exclusive innovation that has made life much easier for laser tag operators. Magnetic coils charge the vests without contacts or connectors. With other systems, hourly employees are prone to carelessly breaking connectors, or forgetting to plug vests in overnight.
LIGHTED RACKS
For our European customers, we still offer brilliant LED vest racks that will add an impressive element to your briefing room, without the wireless charging coils. The Wireless Charging Racks are not yet approved for European delivery.
ANIMATED SCOREBOARD
CyberBlast displays game details on a separate 1080p monitor. Rank, score, accuracy, tag ratio, and status are all displayed in real-time. Depending on the game type, award icons may appear next to each player. For instance, in capture the flag, a flag icon will appear next to the player who is carrying the flag.
MUSIC
The CyberBlast software uses a native background Windows app to integrate adrenaline-pumping music with game sound effects. A library of royalty-free MP3s is included with your CyberBlast system, but you can also add any music you would like to the CyberBlast Media Library. CyberBlast can play your music in randomized order or in sequence.
OWNER REPORTS
Independent owner reports provide a means to reconcile your Point of Sale cash reports with actual games played. Employees are less likely to give away free games when they know they will be held accountable. Without this reconciliation process, employees may be tempted to give away free games to their friends. CyberBlast Owner Reports can be filtered by game type, date range, length, time, number of players, number of players, and whether the game was aborted or completed. Export to excel or csv makes it easy to get exactly the information you need.
DMX
Each Base is equipped with a DMX out port, which can connect to up to 512 channels of DMX devices. Automate your fog levels, trigger impressive lighting effects, and make your arena truly interactive.
PLAYER NAME EDITOR
Make as many player name lists as you like, selecting unique code names and colors. Some operators allow each customer to pick their own codename. RGB color mixing allows for millions of color combinations.
TEAM NAME EDITOR
Customize the name and color for each of up to 8 teams. In team game formats, the team color will override the color in the Player Name Editor.
QUICK CONFIG GAME EDITOR
The basic operator’s interface with game setup. This is where basic settings are chosen, such as: game length, initial hiding time, friendly fire, & two-hand sensor. Quick Config variables unique to each game format are also available in this menu. For instance, in the Capture the Flag game format, you can quickly and easily change the number of flags required to win the game, or the number of points awarded for capturing a flag.
GAME ARCHETYPES
20 core game formats are included to keep your most dedicated players coming back. Some of the most popular formats are:
- Capture The Flag – Your mission is to capture the opponents flag and return it to your Base. If you are hit while carrying the flag, it resets and you will have to retrieve it again so work as a team to escort the flag carrier. Passing the flag is available, but can be disabled.
- King of The Hill – One Base at a time is chosen by the server to be the hill. The active hill will pulse white until it has been captured, when it will change to match the team that captured it. Every minute a new hill is chosen so you’ll have to keep moving.
- Domination – Every Element and Base in the arena is capturable. Tag a target to capture it. Earn points for your team for every second you hold one of these targets.
- Odd Ball – The Element in the center of the arena begins as the ball, flashing white. Tag this Element first to start earning points. The player that tags you will become the next ball carrier.
- Rabbit – One player is randomly selected to begin the game as the rabbit, shown by their vest flashing white in a fast-moving pattern. The player who hits them first becomes the new rabbit. The rabbit earns bonus points rapidly, so find the rabbit early and often to win.
- Team Elimination – A team game format with limited lives. Get hit 10 times and you are out. This format is very popular for member tournaments. Don’t let your team down.
- Zombie Infection – Its everyone for themselves as each player begins the game as a survivor. 30 seconds into the game, the zombie outbreak begins and one player is chosen at random as the first zombie, turning them green. Any player who is hit three times by a zombie is infected and becomes a zombie. Survivor bonuses are earned for every minute that a survivor remains human.
- Elimination – Everyone for themselves. Earn points for zapping other players and a bonus for every player who gets eliminated before you. You can’t win the game just by hiding in a corner, but you must still play carefully.
- Progressive Elimination – Everyone for themselves. The player with the fewest remaining points is eliminated from the game every minute. The player with the highest score wins the game. Survivor
- Survivor – A team game with a twist. Every minute, the player with the fewest points on the losing team is eliminated. Don’t be the weakest link at the next poll.
- Team Recharge – A classic game format that emulates popular team-based FPS games. Every time you are hit you must return to your Base to get back in the action.
