Frankenmuth, MI is known for its Bavarian theming, enchanting Christmas seasons, unmatched chicken dinners, and of course, The Bavarian Inn Lodge. Last month, LaserBlast had the pleasure of heading up to the Bavarian Inn to assist with one of their several new additions…laser tag! We were so excited to be a part of their expansion with this project. Let’s take a closer look at their new arena and CyberBlast Pro system.
We Brought in the Pros
Our 22-player CyberBlast Pro system was the perfect fit for this attraction! From our built-in selfie cameras, to our phaser dual lasers, we know their guests are going to have an amazing experience.
In addition to the vests and chargers, they also added bases, targets, mines, and even an AI Projector target to their arena to enhance game play. All this comes together to create an enchanting attraction that begins with the push of a single button.
Slay the Dragon
This “Dragon’s Lair” themed attraction pulls in the local Bavarian theming with a Medieval twist. You will see everything from Dragons and knight armor, to delicious looking German pretzels and beer barrels. They worked with Art Attack to bring this unique arena design to life.
At the center of the arena, players are even able to slay (or tag) a virtual dragon. Our Projector Target dragon flies out to the arena and starts throwing things at players that can actually tag them. Players have to tag the dragon to shut him down before he tags them – and they get a point boost for doing so! Check out the video of their project target below. This dragon is just one of the many projector target animations that LaserBlast offers.

It is always exciting for our team when we are able to work on local projects. We love having the opportunity to work on installs in our own backyard. Plus, who doesn’t appreciate an excuse to take a trip to Frankenmuth? The Bavarian Inn is a cherished destination in Michigan and we are glad we could help make it even more wonderful.
