Creating an epic laser tag arena can help set you apart from your competition and keep players returning time and time again. From unique and exciting themes to multiple levels of gameplay, there are many ways to make your arena stand out, one of the most notable being interactive effects.

Adding interactive effects to your laser tag arena help bring it to life and create an environment that fully immerses players in the game. Let’s take a closer look at some exciting options available to take your laser tag attraction to the next level.

Lighting

It may seem simple, but there is a lot you can do in your laser tag arena with lighting. One common lighting component that we utilize is bar lighting around the arena that lights up the color of the winning team. This helps to drive the competition, creating more fun and engaging gameplay.

Par lights are also commonly used and can create the illusion of different types of effects. For example, places around a base, lights may active and flash when a base is destroyed, simulating an explosion.

The red lighting is a bar light showing the winning team's color. Look at that awesome smoke effect triggered by tagging a target near the barrel.

This works well with other props as well, such as the robot in this video from Mission Laser in Norfolk, VA. The target on its belt triggers the flashing lights when tagged, which highlights the prop and creates more excitement around tagging it.

Lights can also bring your arena artwork to life. Check out the unique illusion from a recent installation we did with Banana’s Fun Park in Grand Junction, CO.

Fog

A small burst of fog can create a lot of excitement for laser tag players. From epic explosions to airplane take offs, we have added breathtaking fog effects to many laser tag attractions.

These are activated by a player’s actions, such as destroying a base or tagging a target, creating a thrilling surprise that they will leave telling their friends about.

Laser

Laser effects create a thrilling light show right before players eyes. The laser effects can also be programmed to tag players if desired, adding an element of player vs. environment to your gameplay.

Other Unique Options

While the majority of projects we work on utilize lighting, fog, and laser effects, there is a wider variety of options available. Fire, wind, and spotlight effects can also be integrated into your laser tag arena to enhance the play experience.

There are so many options available to bring your arena to life. If you can think of it, there is a good probability that we can help you make it happen.
